On December 17, 2024, Thailand’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, announced the global launch of the Thai e-Visa system, branded as “THAI E-VISA: Apply, Anywhere, Anytime.” This initiative, effective January 1, 2025, enables foreign nationals worldwide to apply for Thai visas online through www.thaievisa.go.th.
The e-Visa system modernizes Thailand’s visa application process by:
