Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Open from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tourists can climb the 300-step Naga Stairs to the temple or take the cable car up and down Doi Suthep from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for 20 baht. You can also take a public songthaew from in front of Chiang Mai University on Huay Kaew Road to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, which operates from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
